Why Group Therapy ?

Group therapy facilitates giving and receiving support.

One misconception about group therapy is that members take turns receiving individual therapy from the therapist while others observe, However, Members are actually encouraged to turn to each other for support, feedback and connection, instead of getting all of that from the clinician.

How  Will This Group Support You?

Dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) is a type of talk therapy (psychotherapy). It’s based on cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), but it’s specially adapted for people who experience emotions very intensely. You will Learn to Regulate Intense emotions.

Group therapy helps you find your “voice.”

For women who are ready to go from uncertain and isolated to confident and connected. 

You are at a crossroads. You are feeling stuck and overwhelmed with life. You know change is no longer an if, it’s a when. 

You are wondering if it is time to end or expand your relationships, make a career shift, or move forward with your next “big life decision”. You are feeling paralyzed and terrified of making the wrong choice. It our group you can create a community where you feel safe and connected and discover yourself without needing to compare.

Be Ready to learn and grow!

This is 6 week closed program, with the capacity of service 10 members. Session are 60 minutes long. Each week the group learns a new skill. While there aren't tests or grades, there is homework. The homework usually involves practicing out the skill of the week in your real life.

Group therapy helps you realize you’re not alone.

While it’s true that each of us is unique and may have unique circumstances, none of us is alone in our struggles

Be Ready to learn and grow!

You will learn Learn how to use negative emotions to navigate the world. Become educated on skills needed to enhance your capabilities in day-to-day life. Including;

  • Mindfulness

  • Distress tolerance

  • Interpersonal effectiveness

  • emotion regulation.
